Mission: Support women through the use of seminars and talks about sexual harassment and give psychology support on the people who were already abuse.
Vision: Women’s will be safe. This will also help lessen the case of sexual harassment, a safe for all the women.
Introduction
Many women suffer from abusing their weakness even in the Spanish era. They are forbid to go to school to work become powerful and also rule the people. From these era you will see the equality between men and women. Women only allowed to stay in their home to do household chore, only the men have the right to go to school to reach the higher degree but when the Spanish era end, do you think the women abuse stop? In our generation we still see some of women experience being abuse belittle by the society. Some of people see women low that they can’t do the men’s work even there is a law that protect women. Did you think women safe from the society? This women month we want to support and preserve women dignity and also to stop the main problem of the women, the “sexual harassment”. From the old years and to this current generation many women experience sexual harassment from the public transportation to street, some of the victims of rape and the worst is some people blaming the victim. This is the main reason why some of women are afraid to report to police because of the thought that the society will judge them, so some women prefer to remain silent.
Purpose
Our group, Shield Women Association aims to create pages and women’s to have a safe environment. This will also used as a way for women to have voices in the society and defend their right against abusive people.
Description
Our group aims to create petition on the Change.org that will be the way to achieve the objective we want to execute. We will use different information that are factual which will lead to proper presentation on the condi of women nowadays that sexual abuse/harassment is dominant cases. We will aim for information dissemination on how they should deal with this kind of situation. The scope of this advocacy is to reach all the women in need.
Support
We will be requiring a week to develop this project and will start our promotion after we uploaded the website. We need your financial support to attain our goal and to promote this project. The accumulated money will be spend as the expenses including campaign materials and computer shop rentals. We will also using free services already offered by WordPress, Jimdo, Trello, Change.org and Facebook.
